About EWET

Endangered Wildlife and Environmental Trust is a Non-profit organization, committed on wildlife and nature conservation in Tamil Nadu. We conduct Wildlife Rescues and Rehabilitation and Environment Education and Awareness Programs, Our team dedicated professionals work towards achieving its vision of a secure natural heritage of Tamil Nadu.

We prevent Poaching activities in the sanctuary areas and villages. Artificial nest are erected creating living atmosphere for the birds. Processing and exhibition are conducted periodically appreciating our work the district collector has allotted a room in SPCA building for our social service we do our social activities with the co-operation of the officials of the rescue dept, School education dept., pollution control board and municipal corporation Thanjavur.

I have established one trust namely Endangered wildlife arid environmental trust with registration number 872/2012 at thanjavur in 2012 . This trust has been functioning regularly protecting the wild life and environment. The most important function of this trust is to keep the wild life such as cobras venomous snakes monkey and turtle safe from the public. We prevent people from destroying them by educating them about the important of preserving wild life. the members of this trust remove the cobras and vipers from the dwelling areas of the public and let them live M the right places for this purpose we educate the public on the nature of these wild animals and the importance of preserving nature.


Training programmes are conducted to the volunteer’s forest officials. forest college students and regular college students arid staff. We remove cobras, vipers and thereby keep them alive. First aid programs are conducted to train thc volunteers. We bum the animals killed in road accidents and keep the environment clean. Awareness procession and exhibitions are conducted.
